Revolutionising Cancer Care: Empowering Women's Journey Through Treatment and Recovery
The University of Queensland partnered with Mater hospital to create a Mindhive discussion aimed at gathering insights from six cancer care clinicians in Queensland. The goal was to develop a comprehensive model for enhancing women's journey through cancer treatment and recovery. The clinicians answered eleven questions related to different stages of the care model and their current level of care. Common themes included the importance of exercise, ensuring patients are fully informed, and the need for better support systems. The data collected will be used for a NHMRC Partnership grant application, journal publications, and conference proceedings.
NOUS Group
Leveraging the expertise of the Mindhive crowd, Nous Group created a challenge which sought input on consumer behaviour, market regulation and disability services. This process informed their assessment of the national quality and safeguard framework of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
Value-add
Nous was able to secure advice from a crowd of 4,000+ experts during a four-week window between their green paper report and their final report. Typically, this would have been a process of asking a nominated panel of experts. With MindHive, expertise is redefined and redistributed. Solutions come from the most unlikely sources. Nous was successful in winning three tenders utilising MindHive as a consulting methodology. An added extra? They’ve paid off their license by costing the process into their consulting!

Cisco needed to position themselves as a leader in a new regional market. Thought leadership was the strategy. How could they position their expertise and capabilities to the right audience, whilst also building knowledge through experts engaging in the challenge? Launch their report into digital cities on MindHive and allow the power of networks, profile and influence. Cisco was successful in engaging with one of the largest city councils in Australia.
